If you're looking for a fun family getaway, Costa del Sol has a whole host of child-friendly activities to choose from! In Fuengirola you'll find the BioParc Zoo, with lots of animals to discover, as well as the Aquamijas Waterpark. Head east along the coastline to Benalmadena, home to the Butterfly Park, Paloma Park and Selwo Marina. And be sure to visit Tivoli World, with more than 40 rides as well as mini discos, magic shows and flamenco shows! Many of the resorts have stunning beaches ideal for sandcastles and paddling, while Marbella is home to a tourist train which runs along the promenade and Old Town. For the more active, you'll find a huge range of watersports on offer, from jet-skis, kitesurfing, flyboarding and water-skiing to wakeboarding and windsurfing. Whichever resort you choose, there's fun to be had for all the family!

It’s no secret that the Costa Del Sol experiences fantastic warm, sunny days for most of the year, but if you’re looking to experience the hottest weather this place has to offer then August, July and September are the best months to visit. May and October are slightly cooler, but still average at a pleasant 25°C.

From April onwards more and more tourists visit the Costa Del Sol, with tourism reaching its peak in June, July and August. After this, the towns and beaches become less busy until next season.
