We offer over 20 luxury villas in southern Sicily. This is a region admired for its long stretch of coastline, beautiful, baroque UNESCO-listed towns, and awe-inspiring Greek ruins. We selected properties in this region because of the bustling culture, as well as the quiet beaches, perfect for finding your own private idyll.
Life is slow here, and many of the picturesque towns and hill villages have remained largely unchanged for decades, even centuries. The south of the island is also a dream destination for foodies, with the region producing some of the best Sicilian food and wine and home to fine dining restaurants.
Which are the best towns and cities to stay in?

What are the main tourist attractions in the south of Sicily?
Many towns and cities in the south are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, making them perfect for lovers of history and architecture. Listed areas include Syracuse, Noto, Scicli, Palazzolo Acreide, Modica and Agrigento.
Popular attractions include Neapolis Archaeological Park, The Valley of Temples, Scala dei Turchi, Portopalo Beach, Menfi vineyards and the Sciacca thermal baths.
Do the private pools come heated?
If you’re looking for villas in Sicily with pool amenities, look no further. Private pools come as standard with our holiday properties.
Many pools are heated, which makes them ideal for babies and small children – simply use the search filter to find heated pools. You can also filter large-sized pools, which are suitable for family holidays or large group travel.
Will I need to hire a car to get around?
Many of our villas have amenities and beaches within walking distance. But to fully explore the island and to enjoy flexibility during your holiday, we do recommend car hire. At Villa Plus, we make this easy with our car hire option, available via your My Villa Plus login.
If you want a location that doesn’t require car hire, you can simply filter on ‘Car not required’ when searching.
