A The beautiful Burriana Beach, as well as a huge selection of shops and places to eat are all within 5 minutes' drive. The beautiful resort of Frigiliana, a picturesque white village steeped in history, is also 4 miles inland and well worth a visit. Air conditioning/heating in the bedrooms and WiFi are included.

Villa Description

Swimming pool, pool terrace and sunbathing area

Around the private pool, there is ample space for sunbathing and relaxing with a cool drink. The villa grounds are enclosed, creating an air of privacy, with potted plants and flower beds providing plenty of colour. There is a covered terrace a with a table of chairs and a purpose built BBQ to one side of pool for cooking your favourite foods alfresco . The washing machine is also house under the covered BBQ area.

Entrance

The gated entrance opens onto the driveway where there is room to park your hire car. From here, the front door opens in to the open plan living area.

Living space

The lounge, dining room and kitchen are open plan and furnished in a traditional manner with comfortable seating, a feature fireplace and a flat screen TV. There is a table with chairs to one side where you can have a bite to eat after a day exploring the Spanish sites. The kitchen is separated by an archway and is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and an American-style breakfast bar.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

There is 1 double and 1 twin bedroom sharing am adjacent shower room. Both bedrooms have windows overlooking the pool.

This villa has applied for a licence with the Junta de Andalucia and the application number is CTC 2016 20777. The licence number will follow.

Villa Location

This villa is located in the rural area west of Nerja and is within easy reach of local amenities and beaches. The villa is well positioned for access to the main roads leading to local villages and the nearby sights of Nerja with its selection of restaurants and shops. Not far inland is the beautiful village of Frigiliana which is steeped in history, and well worth a visit.

Local markets and shopping

There are several local markets in this area with goods including fresh local produce, handcrafts, leather goods and local ceramics. These street markets are very popular for bags, shoes and t-shirts. For food shopping, there are several Spanish supermarkets in the area, as well as one or two European ones. Nerja is a bustling but relaxing Spanish town to browse with several shops lining the cobbled streets.

Bars and restaurants

The centre of Nerja is alive with bars and restaurants of all types. There is plenty of nightlife available as well, mostly concentrated in the Plaza Tutti Frutti and the Calle Antonio Millon areas. There are local Spanish restaurants, tapas bars and a great range of international cuisine on offer. The popular area in the town is all around the Balcon de Europa with people coming from far and near to enjoy a stroll and the terrific coastal views. Along the beaches, particularly along the Burriana beach promenade, there are fish restaurants serving great paellas, sardines on a stick and wonderful seafood next to the sea.

Beaches

The nearest and most popular beach is Burriana beach with a range of water sports and activities going on. There are lovely areas on the beach with special chill out sunbeds where you can spoil yourself with a bit of luxury. More central to town is the Carabeo stretch of beach comprising of little coves.

Family fun

The water sports and activities available on the Burriana beach are possibly the biggest favourite for parents and children alike. There is also the exciting water park, Aquavelis, located in the nearby town of Torre del Mar.

Places of interest

Not far and located inland from Nerja is the beautiful Spanish village of Frigliana, a picturesque white Spanish village that is steeped in history and is well worth a visit during your holiday. A short drive away there are many other attractions to be enjoyed, including the famous Nerja Caves.

Golf

The Baviera Golf Course is located in the Caleta de Velez, about half way between Nerja and Malaga city.

Fishing

The Mediterranean shorelines are ideal for fishing. From July to September swordfish are found off the coasts of Almería, Granada and Málaga. Fishing in the local rivers and dams is also a popular sport, where trout, pike and black bass are found, as well as members of the ciprinidae family, barbel and carp. Without doubt the best way to explore the Nerja region is on horse back. The Golf course from east to west

Golf is no longer an elitist sport and at any time of the year there are players of all levels, from all walks of life participating in this healthy and relaxing past time. Golf and tourism go hand in hand with golfers making Spain their premier destination in Europe.

The Costa del Sol, known also as the Costa del Golf has gone golf crazy with thousands of players passing through Malaga airport every year and heading for any one of the fine courses – some of which have sprung up almost overnight.

Whilst some are strictly for the experienced such as the world famous Valderrama, others welcome experienced and novices alike. Some have a peculiar character like the unique floodlight course of Dama de Noche in Marbella, the stunning coastal course of Alcaidesa Links or the fabulous La Cala de Mijas courses, set in breathtaking countryside.

The added attraction is that whatever time of the year you come to the Costa del Sol you can play golf – and enjoy some very attractive offers on green fees and hire costs during the summer months. Many courses invite visitors to play in local tournaments provided they reserve in advance.
