Villas in Mainland Spain

The Spanish costas have been a popular holiday choice since the 1960s, attracting visitors with their pristine shores and verdant hillsides. Whether you’re looking for Blue Flag beaches, family-friendly waterparks, hikes in unspoilt countryside or traditional tapas, you can get it all when staying in one of our villas in mainland Spain.

Choose a villa in a resort where you can stroll to the beach during the day, then go to dinner and drinks in the evening. Get away from it all in a countryside location where you can splash around in your private pool, or relax and enjoy panoramic vistas at one of our sea view or countryside villas.

Mainland Spain Climate and When to Visit

With over 300 days of sunshine a year, it’s easy to see why villas in Spain are ever-popular, with some visitors returning time and again. The summer months of July and August, with temperatures of around 28 degrees Celsius, are perfect for swimming. It’s up to you whether you want to take a dip in your own private pool or the balmy Mediterranean Sea.

April and May’s temperatures are more suited for holiday walks along Andalucia’s Rio Chillar river or up the iconic Peñón de Ifach rock in the Costa Blanca. September is usually pleasantly warm, and with fewer people around, it’s an ideal time to stroll around the whitewashed towns of Javea, Mijas and Frigiliana. In October, the temperatures drop slightly, but you can warm up by attending the Feria de Nerja – a spectacular festival with flamenco dancing, music and horses. This event is a firm favourite with tourists and locals alike.

All our holiday villas are carefully chosen and each one offers something different. Want a villa with plenty of outdoor space? Try our villas to rent in the Costa Blanca, home to a wide selection of countryside properties in Javea. Set against the dramatic backdrop of Montgo Mountain, these villas also have Blue Flag Arenal Beach close by.

Across Andalucia, you’ll find an excellent selection of sea view villas. Like a bit of nightlife? We have centrally located villas in the Costa del Sol with bars and restaurants within walking distance. If you’re into golf or water sports, look no further than Mijas – a white-washed resort equally suited to families, couples and groups of friends.

We also have large villas with up to seven bedrooms, giving you plenty of room for gathering family and friends together for fun and relaxation. Why not celebrate a big birthday or anniversary with a special holiday together? We’ve also got plenty of smaller villas to rent made for romantic getaways, too.

Our villas all have private pools, many of them heated so you can still enjoy a swim in the spring and autumn. Free WiFi also means you can keep up with friends back home and show them what a wonderful time you’re having on your holidays!

If you feel inspired by the locally grown produce and freshly caught fish, create your own meals on the BBQ and dine al fresco. Alternatively, give yourself a break from the kitchen and eat in authentic Spanish tapas bars or any number of other international restaurants. Wine lovers can try the huge selection Spain produces, including Costa del Sol’s own muscatel grape varieties.

Whether you want to relax by your pool with a good book or hire a car to explore the surrounding area, holidays in Spain cater to a myriad of tastes.
