Villa Oceano Azul is all about the location! The property sits in the area of Los Mojones, near Puerto Del Carmen and within walking distance of the old town and harbour with its wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The sandy beach of Playa Grande and the main Strip are a little further on but also within walking distance. What's more the villa has its own private pool and homely interiors. Air conditioning/heating in the bedrooms and lounge, pool heating and WiFi are included.

Villa Description
Swimming pool, pool terrace and sunbathing area

The focal point is the private gated swimming pool surrounded by sunbathing terrace. This area extends to the side of the villa where the impressive brick BBQ is located. There is a small table and chairs on the shaded terrace - ideal for reading a book or watching activities in the pool.


Entrance

Next to the driveway is the entrance to the villa, which leads into the hallway.


Living space

The inviting lounge has comfortable sofas, a flat screen TV and a small coffee table. It is h as patio doors which give access to the pool area and allow plenty of light into the area. The dining table and chairs are in between the lounge and kitchen, which has a breakfast bar as well as small oven and is equipped with all the modern appliances. There is also a small utility room adjacent


Bedrooms and bathrooms

There is 1 double bedroom with an en suite shower room overlooking the pool. The remaining 2 twin bedrooms share a separate bathroom with bath and overhead shower.

Villa Location
This semi-detached villa is in the residential area of Los Majones and is just a short walk to the old town and harbour. The sandy Playa Grande Beach and the centre of lively Puerto del Carmen are just 15 minutes' walk with a great choice of restaurants, bars and shops. Villa Oceano Azul is an ideal choice if you don't want to hire a car.

Local markets and shopping

There are shops within walking distance. Or, if you are after some retail therapy, Puerto Del Carmen is the place to be! Shops ranging from designer clothes, shoes, sports, gifts, beauty salons and jewellery can be found here. There is a market in the harbour in the old town every Friday selling local goodies from in and around Lanzarote.


Bars and restaurants

Only just down the road from Villa Oceano Azul you find cafe bars and a selection of restaurants. Continuing past the centre are more bars and restaurants with some old favourites that have stood the test of time. By night Puerto del Carmen comes to life with no shortage of entertainment. There are theme bars, cocktail bars and live music venues for all ages and tastes.


Beaches

The main Playa Grande Beach is along the promenade and stretches for several miles and is fringed with tropical palm trees. For sun-worshippers there are sunbeds and parasols for hire, or for the more energetic there are many sport activities to choose from.


Family fun

The Rancho Texas Park provides entertainment for all ages. During the day, there is an animal park with birds and animals from all over the world. At night, there's a cowboy and Indian theme night with entertainment, BBQ, disco, line dancing and games.


Places of interest

The harbour and old town of Puerto Del Carmen are both full of Spanish vibe and worth a visit. It has maintained its charm and is still a popular meeting place for the locals to play boules. The play area in the square is surrounded by bars and restaurants with fabulous sea views from the wooden terraces.


Golf

There is an 18-hole golf course a 10 minute drive away, located behind Puerto del Carmen. A more established course is also available in Costa Teguise on the east coast. Alternatively, there's a pitch and putt course in the Hesperia Hotel in Playa Blanca.


Other activities

A great way to familiarise yourself with Puerto del Carmen is to hire a bike and make the most of the purpose-built cycle lanes going along the coast. They go all the way into the capital of Lanzarote, Arrecife, passing rugged unspoilt beaches along the way.

Diving
There are many PADI dive centres, including several in both Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca, that cater for the first timer to the most experienced. From crystal clear shallow bays to night dives or shipwrecks the waters of the Atlantic offer an array of sea life waiting to be discovered. Rancho Texas
In Puerto del Carmen signposted along the sea front. By day a theme park with sea lions, pumas, reptiles, birds from all over the world, petting zoo, play areas, pony rides, parrot show, crocodiles and a not to be missed, a birds of prey demonstration. Restaurant for lunches. By night the ranch converts into a family night out with a cowboy and Indian theme. All you can eat BBQ and free flowing drinks. Family entertainment from the staff, line dancing display and lessons, lassoo show, live music, mechanical bull. Kids games in the tee pees and pony rides for children of all ages. Finishes with a disco until 11pm.
