Villas in Corralejo Resort

A Corralejo villa holiday is perfect for anyone who wants to visit this beloved resort - from families with its sandy beaches to the young at heart for its vibrant nightlife, and the adventurous daredevils looking for a surf break. Corralejo sits on the northern tip of Fuerteventura looking towards the neighbouring island of Lanzarote - boats sail regularly back and forth between the islands. Along the Corralejo waterfront, you’ll find a choice of restaurants serving the catch of the day. A long golden stretch of sand leads along the coast with views towards Lobos Island. Further into the resort, a lively street of bars and nightclubs keeps the party going after dark. Take a trip to the nearby giant sand dunes just outside Corralejo or visit further inland to see the lunar like volcanic landscape. The excellent climate means you can enjoy a Corralejo villa holiday all year round.

What to do on a Corralejo villa holiday

Corralejo has plenty for keen shoppers, from boutiques where local craft people sell their products to large shopping malls, Las Palmeras and El Campanario - both of which have high street brands. To stock your Corralejo villa, there are supermarkets and mini markets in the resort centre. Pay a visit to a local market at the top of the main street on Tuesdays and Fridays but be sure to get there early as it gets very popular later in the day.

There are over a hundred restaurants in Corralejo from international cuisine to vegan cafes. If you love fresh seafood, however, restaurants around the harbour are excellent. Corralejo is also a great place for all kinds of live music, mainly in the bars and clubs on the Avenida del Generalissimo Franco, which takes you from the town square to the harbour. The town beaches have beach bars for a snack or drink.

When you're on a Corralejo villa holiday you'll be spoiled for choice with the resort's magnificent beaches. Corralejo's beaches are well equipped with sunbeds, parasols, and beach bars. Waikiki Beach, in the resort centre, is ideal for small children with fine white sands and shallow clear, calm waters, perfect for paddling and swimming. If you want to try surfing, head to Kite Beach where the strong winds make great conditions. Flag Beach is just outside of Corralejo and is popular with water sports enthusiasts. Grandes Playas Beach is a 5 minute drive from Corralejo and you will also find miles of other beaches to choose from.

Acua Waterpark in Corralejo offers a variety of water slides and tubes or you may choose to venture into the wave pool or the lazy river! You can try your hand at crazy golf which is also located at the Acua Waterpark. There is another crazy golf course situated at the Plaza in Corralejo.

A tour to the former capital of the island, Betancuria, will show you the ancient history of the island and its unique geography on the way. The Archaeology Museum has many interesting archaeological finds and exhibits including old farming implements and there are various well-preserved buildings to see. To explore the Canary Islands further from your Corralejo villa, you can take a boat trip to Lanzarote or Lobos.
