Villa Description

Chamine de Ca is a spacious, 5 bedroom villa boasting air conditioning/heating in the bedrooms, WiFi and pool heating at no extra cost. It provides good accommodation with many attractive, authentic features including terracotta flooring and traditional tiles, but with co-ordinated soft furnishings ensuring comfort with Portuguese charm.

The front door opens into a hallway with the open plan lounge/dining area ahead. The living area is traditionally furnished and centered around a large stone fireplace. Patio doors from the living area open onto the private pool terrace and BBQ area.

The separate kitchen is spacious and has a table for your early morning continental breakfast.

There are 3 twin bedrooms sharing a separate shower and bathroom and a double bedroom with an en suite shower room on the ground floor.

Upstairs is the second double bedroom with an en suite bathroom, a walk in wardrobe and dressing area, and patio doors opening onto a small private terrace overlooking the gardens and swimming pool.

All bedrooms are air conditioned/heated at no extra cost.

Outside, the villa has a spacious lawn surrounding the private swimming pool, which is heated at no extra cost. The gardens are bordered by mature pines, palms and ivy clad walls, along with colourful shrubs and potted plants dotted around.

There is a brick BBQ and exterior dining table for alfresco dining.

Chamine De Ca, next door to Villa Chamine De La, is close to the chic resorts of Vale do Lobo and Quinta Da Lago, in an area of pinewoods. There are two restaurants within walking distance with the resort centres and beach a short drive away.

Location features

Chamine de Ca lies north of the exclusive resort of Vale do Lobo and north west of Quinta do Lago, an excellent location in an area of pinewords next door to Chamine de La. It is away from, yet is very convenient for the resort's many facilities, including shops, restaurants, sandy beaches and golf courses. The nearest supermarket is in the nearby resort of Almancil.

There are restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets in the area, from local Portuguese to quality international cuisine, plus several excellent beach bars. The nearest beach is within 5 minutes by car at Praia do Garrão - just part of the superb sands that stretch for miles here.

This is a perfect locality to sample a cross-section of everything the Algarve has to offer, from local tradition to international style. To the north is Almancil, a thriving little town with all manner of shops, restaurants and amenities.

To the east are the Buganvilia Plaza and Quinta Shopping centres, with chic fashion shops, a choice of restaurants, a supermarket and a nightclub.

Top quality golf courses, tennis centres, horse-riding, and a nature reserve are all within a 5 minute drive, whilst a go-karting track and a water-splash park are within a 6-mile radius.

Just a little further away, one can visit Vilamoura's international yacht marina, inland Loulé's colourful traditional market, and Faro's historic old town.

Pinetrees Horse Riding Centre

Located between Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, Pinetrees Riding Centre provides a high standard of riding tuition, taught by qualified teachers. Lessons are available for beginners as well as experienced riders with ponies for very young children.

Activities on offer include one to one and group sessions, nature walks and treks. The centre welcomes disabled riders with some experience and with medical and (under 18s) parental approval. Riding equipment such as boots, hats and jodhpurs are provided. (Tel. 289 394 369/489)

The Royal Golf Course

The Royal Golf Course is set amongst lakes and lush vegetation taking players through pine and fig tree bordered fairways before surprising you with breathtaking sea views.

A par 72 course, this superb test includes three demanding par 3 holes. One of these is the famous cliff-top 16th hole. Originally the 7th hole, this has a spectacular carry over the russet cliffs and is one of the most celebrated golfing images in the world. A well-known symbol of the Algarve, it is said to be the most photographed golf hole in Europe.
Combining the excellent golf facilities with Algarve's excellent climate plus an average of over 1 mile of sandy beach and a selection of fine restaurants, this makes Vale do Lobo the perfect destination for a villa holiday.

Vale do Lobo Tennis Centre

The centre offers 12 all-weather tennis courts, six of which are floodlit, as well as a short tennis court for children. A team of resident professionals can provide one to one and group coaching and for competitive players, weekly tournaments are held.

The courts are overlooked by the centre’s clubhouse which includes a bar, a shop and satellite TV, where you can relax after a game or join one of the regular social events.

Almancil Go Karting

Situated 8 kilometres from Vilamoura and open all year round, the Almancil Go Karting circuit is a replica of the Jacarepagua Formula 1 circuit in Brazil. Try a 160cc or 200cc Go Kart or lift the pace with a 400cc bi-motor model. (Tel. 289 399 899)

Ria Formosa Nature Park

This vast protected area covers some 71 square miles. It was established to preserve the natural resources on which the local population depend for most of their traditional activities such as fish and shellfish farming, traditional fishing and salt production.

Amongst other natural attractions, the nature park is home to wetlands, indigenous fauna and flora and migratory species.
