Villas in Greece

Our villas in Greece make for truly idyllic getaways. Each Greek island offers a different holiday experience, but they all have great food, traditional charms, rich history and marvellous scenery in common. You just can’t help but be captivated by the Greek island lifestyle, where fishing boats share harbours with passing yachts. Our villas are set in landscapes dotted with olive trees, while the glistening sea invites you to go for a swim.

Corfu, Kefalonia and Zante sit just west of mainland Greece and form part of the Ionian Islands. Our villas in Corfu are mainly scattered around the north-eastern coast of the island, which has views across the Ionian Sea towards Albania. This beautiful Greek island has glorious scenery, long pebble beaches and many smaller, hidden coves to explore by foot or boat, on top of quaint little villages in the wooded hills which you can wander through. In short, it’s an island visitors return to stay time and again.

By contrast, Kefalonia and the various resort towns around it have a more easy-going, laid-back holiday vibe. Staying here, you’ll be able to completely relax and appreciate the sea views which can be enjoyed from every villa and beach! The island’s elegant town of Fiskardo is renowned for its Venetian pastel painted buildings and elegant restaurants, and is worth visiting whenever you have the chance.

Zante shows a more modern side to Greece, with a reputation for its lively nightlife, sandy beaches and plenty of fun children’s attractions. No holiday here would be complete without visiting the famous Shipwreck Beach, located on the island’s northern coast – you may even see the loggerhead sea turtles that lay their eggs around Laganas Bay!

The larger islands of Crete and Rhodes lie further south in the Mediterranean Sea. Crete is a great all-rounder, with something for everyone. The largest Greek Island, Crete has a fascinating mix of ancient and modern history, superb sandy beaches and water sports for when you want to enjoy the sea. Not only that, the island gifts you the chance to enjoy a great mix of traditional and contemporary lifestyles.

Rhodes is also packed with history. Rhodes Town – one of Europe’s most impressive surviving walled towns – has the Street of the Knights, where you’ll find one of the best preserved medieval monuments in the world! The bars, restaurants, beaches, nightlife and harbour of Rhodes Town all add to the lively atmosphere here. Of course, it’s not hard to find a beautiful beach or two, perfect for lazing away sunny afternoons…

No matter how you choose to spend your holiday in Greece, we’re confident you’ll find something to love in each one of these superb Greek islands.

Best for…
  • • Aegean and Ionian seafood
  • • Meze dishes
  • • The spectacular sandy beaches of Zante
  • • Corfu’s pebbly beaches
  • • Lindos Acropolis ruins in Rhodes
  • • Crete’s Limnoupolis waterpark

  • Climate and When to Visit

If you prefer to relax and enjoy the sunshine, visit during the summer months. Throughout June, July and August, temperatures can exceed 30°C – perfect for sunbathing on the beach, reading a book by your private pool or taking the kids to local waterparks open during the holiday season.

You might want to get out and about and explore everything these beautiful Greek Islands have to offer. In which case, travel earlier or later in the year. The temperatures during the months of May, September and October are more comfortable (around 23°C) and ideal for walking around or taking a boat trip during the day. It tends to be a little cooler in the evenings, too.

    Villa Plus in Greece

Our villas in Greece range from beautiful, traditional stone-built houses, to impressive and stylish modern properties. Plus, we even have a couple of villas with just one bedroom – ideal for a romantic holiday! Most of our rentals have glorious views of the open hillside and sea but also have fantastic restaurants nearby if you decide to venture out.

Whether you prefer to holiday in a picturesque countryside setting or right by the beach, our villas to rent have it covered. Many of our villas are in the heart of resorts, giving you a wide choice of facilities and activities right on your doorstep. Remember that the islands are generally hilly, so hiring a car can be hugely beneficial, especially if you want to explore the surrounding area.

It’s also really easy to hire a local motorboat and venture along the local coastline – Corfu, for instance, has several small hidden bays which can only be accessed from the sea. Rent a boat, moor up and enjoy a picnic on your own private beach.

Staying in resort towns like Kassiopi and Agios Stefanos gives you the chance to enjoy an indulgent villa holiday and view incredible Greek scenery, too – what could possibly be better? Group boating excursions and glass bottom boats are also available and are a great way to see more of the resorts. Just sit back and let someone else steer. If your style is about pure relaxation and wonderful scenery, our villas to rent in Kefalonia make a great choice – every property here has a sea view! Our holiday rentals in Crete, such as those in Chania, take on a more modern style, whilst Zante’s villas, in resorts like Agios Sostis, are a wonderful mix of both traditional and contemporary styles. Whichever island you choose, you’ll have an amazing time. Wonderful scenic views, superb beaches, tavernas offering fantastic food and great shopping opportunities are never far away. Every one of our Greek villas has air conditioning/heating for a comfortable stay, and the majority have pool heating so you can enjoy a dip, even in the cooler months! In addition to that, almost all also have WiFi, so you can keep up to date on social media and make your family and friends at home jealous with your holiday photos! Many of our properties also have barbeques for whenever you want to cook alfresco.

Around every corner expect jaw-droppping scenery and amazing traditional bars and restaurants.
