Villa Description

Swimming pool, pool terrace, and sunbathing area

Outdoors, you'll find your impressive swimming pool which includes a shallow area to sit in - perfect for keeping cool! The spacious stone terrace spans the length and sides of the villa and houses a stylish alfresco dining table and brick BBQ. Why not cook up a feast or make use of the games tables with some friendly competition? There's also a lawned area, adding a splash of colour to this lovely space.

Entrance

The villa is completely enclosed and accessible from the off road parking area through a gate in the wall. A pathway leads to the front door which opens in to the living area.

Living space

Large, sliding doors filling one wall allow plenty of natural light to flood the contemporary, open plan living space and provide easy access to the pool terrace. High ceilings, tiled floors and contemporary artwork add a touch of elegance to the well-designed space. Relax on the plush corner sofa, dine at the sleek table and make use of the stylish kitchen, featuring high gloss cabinets and all mod-cons. Conveniently, the kitchen door leads directly out to the BBQ area.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

All bedrooms have ample storage and benefit from tasteful, high quality touches such as marble topped bedside tables and feature lighting. Downstairs, you'll find 3 good sized bedrooms - 2 doubles and 1 twin. Each room on this level has external doors, making access to the terrace and pool a breeze. There are 2 shower rooms on the ground floor, complete with large walk-in showers.

Upstairs is the mezzanine level. Bordered on two sides by contemporary wooden shelving, this interesting space contains the second twin bedroom. 1 step down leads to a WC and study area. For privacy, this upstairs bedroom has blinds that cover both the wooden 'wall' and the door space.

This villa has applied to be licenced by the EOT Greek licensing association. The licence number will follow.

Villa Location

Located on the outskirts of Tsilivi, Villa Peonia is an ideal base for exploring. It's just a 5 minute drive to the resort's centre and a little further to Zante Town, the island's buzzing capital. The popular resort of Tsilivi has a vast range of drinking and dining options to choose from, with plenty more options in Zante Town. A golden, sandy beach with prestigious Blue Flag status can also be found in the resort, so you'll have everything you need for an enjoyable family holiday. Local markets and shopping

Tsilivi centre's main streets and intricate winding side lanes have a broad choice of souvenir shops that make for great browsing. There are several mini markets here and a larger supermarket for stocking up on essentials. The bustling Zante Town has great opportunities for shopping, with a wide range of shops offering jewellery, clothes and gifts. Travel a little further on a 40 minute mountain drive, and you'll reach the charming village of Volimes. Wander the pretty streets and try your hand at bartering for local crafts and produce, plentiful in this area. Local honey and herbs are particularly popular.

Bars and restaurants

Tsilivi has various cuisine options where traditional Greek eateries sit alongside Chinese and Italian restaurants - perfect for catering to a range of taste buds. The resort has seen incredible growth over the past 10 years, but still retains an authentic, friendly charm. Dine by the seafront and take in the views of the sun setting over the distant mountains, or experience the bustling resort from the main street. Come evening, there are plenty of bars offering delicious cocktails that stay open well into the night.

Beaches

Tsilivi Beach is a long, golden stretch of shoreline that shelves gently into the clear waters of the Ionian sea. You'll find beach bars here, with some offering waitress service directly to your sunbed - ideal for relaxing on those hot, sunny days. The more energetic may enjoy the many water based activities on offer here, such as parascending, pedaloes and jet skiing. Alternatively, explore the peaceful coves of Gaidaros, Bouka and Psarou along the coastline offering more laid-back settings.

Family fun

If you're after family entertainment, Tsilivi is the place to be. Fantasy Mini Golf has three 18 hole courses for you and the little ones to perfect your putting. Luna Fun Park is located on the resort's main street. With trampolines, face painting, inflatables and a games arcade, there's amusements for all on offer. There's also 'Bowl em Over' with its 4 lane bowling alley and a local waterpark with slides, a lazy river, a wave pool and much more.

Places of interest

The island's capital, Zante Town is just under a 10 minute drive away, and is well worth a visit for the shopping opportunities, picturesque harbour and charming streets. Make your way up to Bocchali, perched on a hill overlooking Zante Town, for views that will not disappoint. You'll also find the interesting ruins of a Venetian Castle here. Why not stop for an ice cream or a cool drink while enjoying the view over the town and across to the mainland?

One of the most famous attractions on the island is the magnificent Shipwreck Bay. You can explore the mountains by car stopping off at a viewpoint overlooking the shipwreck for some fantastic photo opportunities, or take a boat from Porto Vromi to see the wreck up close.

Think waterfalls, dinosaurs and erupting volcanoes! Located along the main street in Tsilivi, this fantasy-themed mini golf centre makes a fantastic trip out for families and couples alike. It’s open by day and night, with 4 different courses to choose from - not to be missed!

Luna Fun Park

Located along the main street of Tsilivi, this is a great little spot for keeping younger people entertained. Activities include trampolining, inflatables and face painting, as well as a games arcade. Plus, drinks are served in the garden area so you can relax while keeping an eye on the fun. Most of the activities are outdoors, so it’s a great place to visit early evening.

Shipwreck Beach

The stunning Navagio Beach and shipwreck is undoubtedly the icon of Zante. The only way of setting foot on its shores is by boat, but can also capture the picture-perfect shot from a viewpoint in the north of the island.

The Byzantine Museum

This striking building is located in the famous Solomos Square, Zante Town. The small art museum showcases post-Byzantine art as murals salvaged from churches destroyed in the 1953 earthquake.

Tsilivi Waterpark

For a splashing day out, why not try the Tsilivi Waterpark? There’s plenty to keep everyone entertained, with a variety of slides including a space bowl, the boomerang and racer slides. For anyone looking for more relaxation, there’s also a wave pool and lazy river as well as a splash pool for younger children.
