Villa Description

Swimming pool, pool terrace and sunbathing area

The compact pool area is accessed through the kitchen door or via patio doors from the living area. It's a freeform shape with an intermittent waterfall wall and is surrounded by sun loungers to work on your holiday tan. The portable BBQ and poolside dining table and chairs mean you can enjoy tasty alfresco meals day or night.

Entrance

Parking is at the side of the villa and the main entrance door is accessed through a small gate and down 3 stone steps. There is a further similar entrance to the back of the villa, again from the parking area which leads to the pool and kitchen door, through a small gate and down 6 steps. The villa is completely gated making this property great for families with small children.

Living space

The spacious, open plan living/dining area has a high vaulted wooden ceiling and with large patio doors at both ends and neutral decor, the space is especially light and airy. There are 3 contemporary sofas providing enough space for 8 people to sit comfortably, and a dining table and chairs for entertaining your party.

Kitchen

The contemporary kitchen is very well-equipped with white cabinets and all the mod-cons. It leads directly on to the pool area with the kitchen window overlooking the pool too – great for keeping an eye on children when cooking!

Bedroom and bathrooms

On the ground floor there’s a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, plus a separate WC. This bedroom is tastefully furnished with a black iron bed, along with matching dressing table and mirror. Patio doors lead onto a small covered balcony facing the rear of the property.

On the first floor there’s a twin bedroom and a double bedroom, both with their own balcony and coordinated furnishings. There’s also a further balcony accessed off the landing from where you can enjoy pleasant sea views, and a separate bathroom. The remaining bedroom is a comfortable children’s twin bedroom on the second floor. It has a wooden ceiling and beds set in alcoves. There’s a window overlooking the pool area at the rear of the villa.

This villa has applied to be licenced by the EOT Greek licensing association. The licence number will follow.

This villa has an excellent central location. Everything the resort of Tsilivi has to offer is on your doorstep - restaurants, shops, bars and 2 beaches are all within walking distance. Add to this the waterpark being a mere 650 yards away and your family holiday is complete! If you wish to explore more of this fabulous island and hire a car, Zante Town is 10 minutes' drive away. What's not to love?

Local market and shopping

Tsilivi offers a wealth of souvenir shops to browse along its main street and winding side roads. Zante Town, only 4 ½ miles away, has a wide selection of shops to suit all tastes, from jewellery and clothes to gifts and souvenirs. Further afield, on a drive into the mountains, perhaps explore the craft village of Volimes. You can wander through the village bartering for local crafts and souvenirs with the stall holders and purchase wonderful herbs and honey all produced in Zante. For day to day essentials, a supermarket is less than a mile away.

Bars and restaurants

Whatever your taste, Tsilivi will cater for it! Traditional Greek restaurants sit alongside others offering Chinese, Italian and other international cuisine. You can eat by the sea with the sun setting over the distant mountains, or on the busy main street watching the bustle of the resort. Why not continue your evening in one of the many bars, sipping cocktails well into the night?

Beaches

Tsilivi Beach is long and sandy with the shoreline shelving gently into the warm clear waters of the Ionian Sea. Beach bars offering waitress service straight to your sunbed make this is the place to be for a relaxing day soaking up the sun. For the more energetic, boat rides, parascending, pedaloes and jet skis are just a few of the many water-based activities on offer.

For those searching for a more tranquil experience, the north-east coastline extending from the resort offers the small sandy coves and rocky bays of Gaidaros, Bouka, Psarou and Ammoudi, to name a few.

Family fun

Tsilivi is all about fun. Fantasy Mini-Golf offers three 18-hole courses for you to perfect your putting. The Luna Park, open until late, has amusements to suit all, and let’s not forget 'Bowl em Over' with its four-lane bowling alley offering entertainment for families and couples alike. Tsilivi also has its very own Water Park complete with a children’s Aztec themed section, lazy river and six larger slides for the daredevils among you!

Places of interest

Zante is famous for its picturesque Shipwreck Bay. Explore the mountains by car stopping off at the viewpoint overlooking the shipwreck for some fantastic photos or drive to Porto Vromi and take a boat into the bay itself to see the shipwreck up close. Whichever you choose you will not be disappointed.

Bocchali, on the hill overlooking Zante Town is a beautiful place to visit. Sit in one of the cafes with a cool drink or ice-cream whilst enjoying the view over the town and across to the Greek Mainland. Wander up to the ruins of the Venetian Castle and in the evening watch as the lights of the town start to twinkle below, and the town comes to life.
