Getting there

Location

Set in the town of Kariotes, Villa Wind offers beautiful views of the countryside scenery. Just a short stroll will take you to a selection of local tavernas, cafes and mini markets, plus the pebble and shingle Kariotes Beach. 5 minutes’ drive along the coast is the small fishing village of Lygia, where you can enjoy local Greek cuisine overlooking the boats at the small harbour. Lefkada Town, the bustling capital with a fabulous marina and charming maze of narrow streets lined with eateries, is only 10 minutes’ drive away. Head south and discover the port town of Nidri, where you can organise boat trips to the neighbouring islands. Taxis are easy to arrange and there is a bus service on the main road with frequent services to Lefkada Town, Vasiliki and Nidri.
