Villa Laroque is ideally located in Laroque-des-Albères, a charming Catalan village with a relaxed atmosphere, tucked away at the foot of the Albères mountains. 10 minutes’ walk will take you to the village centre, where traditional cafes, local restaurants and small shops are all set against a beautiful backdrop of vineyards and mountain scenery. You’ll also be perfectly placed for exploring some of the most beautiful parts of southern France. A 20 minute drive takes you to the picture-perfect seaside town of Collioure, famous for its colourful harbour, historic streets, and wonderful waterfront dining. The long golden sandy beaches of Argeles-sur-Mer are also nearby, offering miles of coastline ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and family beach days. The vibrant city of Perpignan, 30 minutes’ drive from your villa, combines Catalan culture with lively markets, palm-lined squares, and impressive historic architecture. From here, it’s also easy to venture across the nearby Spanish border.
