Activities for Kids in the French Riviera

If you're looking for some family fun but don't want to spend the day on the beach, why not visit Le Village de Fous for some tree top adventures? Or head to Azur Park to have a go on the bumper cars? The French Riviera has plenty of options to keep the whole family entertained.

Le Village des Fous Set back from the coast in the woods, Le Village des Fous (The Village of Fools) is an outdoor leisure park with a range of fun activities for all ages. Attractions vary from trampolines and mazes to an experiment zone with fun science lessons. There is also a small splash park, great for cooling off on a hot summer’s day. Nearby is Le Bois de Lutins, a network of canopies and treetop walkways, and plenty of inflatable fun. The park is open from April to October. 

Marineland Parc Marineland Parc, located in Antibes, is 3 parks rolled into one! There is the Marineland, where you can see a variety of sea life including penguins, polar bears, dolphins and fish. The Kids’ Island is home to a small farm, as well as a couple of rides and a play area. The Aquasplash Waterpark has a kids’ pool and splash park, as well as some slides and a lazy river.  Please note the Aquasplash park is currently closed for refurbishments, and due to reopen in July 2019.  

Azur Park Located just outside of St. Tropez, Azur Park is an amusement park with 35 rides and attractions to occupy the whole family. There is a Ferris Wheel, Haunted House and even a 7D Cinema – to name a few. There is also a restaurant and a crazy golf course for some friendly competition! The park itself is an evening affair, open daily April to September, from 4pm in April, 6pm in May and 8pm in July – September.   

Oceanographic Museum of Monaco Perched on the cliffs of the Rock of Monaco, the Oceanographic Museum is home to a range of exhibitions dedicated to the history of oceanography. A collection of sealife curiosities including fossils and skeletons of whales, the ‘Oceanomania’ display is not to be missed. What’s more, the Museum Aquarium is one of the oldest in the world and showcases a range of creatures from sharks to turtles.
