The beauty of St Georges is that this resort is also reasonably close to the popular resort of Coral Bay, so you can revel in countryside views and lap up the nearby resort’s facilities. Exploring St.Georges On Villa Holidays

There is a small choice of shops in St Georges for your daily essentials, while a short drive to the Coral Bay Strip caters for those looking for a wider choice. You will find plenty of places to shop for food and souvenirs here. If you're looking for something a little more authentic, the old town of Paphos approximately 30 minutes' drive away has a local market. Here you can buy unique handmade jewellery, lace and leather handbags, as well as fresh fruit and vegetables you can prepare in your villa.

There are a few restaurants along St Georges Avenue, serving both Cypriot and international flavours. According to the locals, you'll find some of the best fish in the region here.

A short 10 minute drive will take you to the lively resort of Coral Bay, with a number of traditional tavernas and international restaurants and bars to suit many different tastes. Or drive uphill from Coral Bay and you’ll get to Peyia Village, which is well known for its local tavernas – this is the place to try delicious Cypriot meze as well as souvlaki, sheftalia and delicious halloumi cheese!

The closest beaches to our villas in St Georges are in Coral Bay. These are just a short drive away and have sun loungers and parasols to hire, as well as water sports facilities. Coral Bay Beach has Blue Flag status with golden sands and calm, shallow waters, making it a popular choice for families. The beach is enclosed by a pair of limestone headlands and has abundant greenery, further enhancing its beauty.

The slightly quieter Corallia Beach is separated from Coral Bay beach by a headland is great for snorkelling and relaxing. When you want some shade and a bite to eat, try the taverna by the beach.

Explore the spectacular Sea Caves near St Georges for a real adventure or go horse riding through the nearby banana plantations. For a fun day out, why not visit Ithaki Amusement Park in Coral Bay, which has a mini golf course, video games arcade and a cafe bar. Paphos Zoo also makes a great day out with many wonderful animals to see and is around a 10 minute drive away.

The church of Agios Georgios in St Georges overlooks the natural beach Or why not visit Paphos, approximately 30 minutes' drive away. This World Heritage Site has many wonders to be explored, including the Tomb of the Kings, the Catacombs, The Saranta Colonee and the castle.
