What to do on a Latchi villa holiday

There is a mini market and a supermarket on the resort, perfect for all the daily essentials you'll need in your Latchi villa. There is also a market every month by the harbour, where you’ll find a number of stalls selling anything from traditional Cypriot cakes, natural beauty products, wine and plenty more. Definitely a must visit! Polis, which is a short drive away, also has a few clothing and souvenir shops.

One thing you will surely enjoy during your Latchi villa holiday is the choice of bars and restaurants. Down at the harbour you will find traditional Cypriot restaurants serving local dishes including souvlakia (grilled meat kebabs), fresh olives with feta or freshly caught fish of the day. Sit right by the harbour and enjoy those stunning views while indulging in your meal. Continue your evening at one of the many bars and relax with a chilled drink at the end of a hot summer’s day.

A few kilometres east of Latchi village is the town of Polis with a relaxed atmosphere which centres on the village square. There's an good choice of tavernas and restaurants serving local and international cuisine.

For a relaxing day beside the sea, Latchi Beach has a 1½ kilometre stretch of shingle with crystal clear waters - an ideal spot for families with younger children. There are plenty of sun loungers and parasols for hire as well as a choice watersports. You'll also find a few lively beach bars serving cocktails to keep you cool from that sun.

Plan a day out on the water with the family from one of the many scenic cruises from Latchi harbour where you can admire the unspoilt beauty of the Akamas coast and the Blue Lagoon Bay. There are also plenty of parks where you can enjoy a family picnic.

One of the most popular water parks on the island is the Aphrodite Waterpark in Paphos, approximately 50 minutes drive from Latchi. There's a splash zone for younger children, as well as wave pool, whirlpool and an array of adventurous water slides. Paphos Zoo also makes a great day out.

Latchi lies next to the spectacular Akamas Peninsula National Park. This is perhaps the most beautiful stretch of the island, with lush valleys and steep gorges teeming with endemic plants and flowers throughout the year. Official nature trails start at the Baths of Aphrodite, a cooling natural spring where the goddess used to bath.
