Happy Chinese/Lunar Year Of The Sheep!

Posted on Feb 25 2015

We're delighted to share with you a sneak peak of the stunning Chinese themed sculptures, which will form part of the Shaun in the City trail. We hope you agree that they look baa-rilliant!
“Jingtai”, designed by Simon Farrell, is inspired by the ancient Chinese Cloisonné style, seen on ceramics and jewellery from the 14th century in China, with the pottery often referred to as Jingtai Blue! Ashley Boddy’s mystical “Shanghai-Shaun” was inspired by legendary mythological dragons in Chinese folklore, symbols of power, strength, and good luck. They are pictured here with “Classic Shaun” designed by Aardman Animations.
The Villa Plus statue will be unveiled in the coming weeks as well as information on how you can track him down in London town!
