There are plenty of shops selling everything from beachwear to souvenirs where, by day you can enjoy a bit of retail therapy and a spot of lunch at any one of the numerous cafes and restaurants. At night Praia D’Oura really comes to life, with many of the bars and clubs offering a great atmosphere, open until the early hours in high season. Many of the venues also have live music, offering a varied choice with everything from DJ’s in some of the clubs to acoustic in the more relaxed bars.
The Strip runs all the way to the golden sandy beach from which Praia D’Oura derives its name. The beach has a choice of water sports facilities available plus a choice of cafes and restaurants where you can sit and enjoy a refreshing drink or an evening meal as you watch the sun set over the sea.
