Lefkada Town (also known as Lefkas Town) is the bustling capital of the island, set right on the waterfront as you cross the bridge from the mainland. You’ll find bars and restaurants overlooking the sea plus a busy marina lined with boats. From here you can easily arrange excursions and boat trips. Head inland and discover the maze of narrow lanes full of colourful buildings, shops and restaurants.
Funchal, Madeira
The bustling capital of Funchal is famed for its beautiful old town and rich history. Located on the sunny south coast and the largest city on the island, it’s a fantastic place to explore. There is a plethora of delicious restaurants to dine at across the city, with some incredible chefs showcasing local and international cuisine.
