It needs little introduction as it has been at the forefront of tourism in Rhodes and no visitor to Rhodes has not gone to the village. Lindos has a charm all of its own, with its white washed one storey sugar cubed buildings nestling under an impressive Acropolis high above.
The Acropolis can be visited by foot, or why not try a 'Lindian Taxi' a donkey! Most of the old fisherman’s houses have been converted to apartments, restaurants and bars. Beautiful court yards and mosaic floors called ‘chokiaki’ add unlimited character to the village. Pallas Beach and St Paul’s Bay are ideal beaches to relax and cool off in the Mediterranean.
This gorgeous village is government protected and remains untouched by the 21st century.
