Two and a half hours to fly to Mahon and approximately twenty minutes to drive to Binibeca and you won't have to hear "Are we there yet?" too many times from the kids! Binibeca has two parts to it, the Binibeca Vell area and the Binibeca Nou/Cala Torret part. Binibeca Nou is mostly a residential area around the beach – A small sandy beach enveloped in rocky coastline on either side, giving shelter from the Tramontana, north wind. Sun beds, shades and pedaloes can be hired. Have a refreshing drink at the beach bar sitting on the edge of the rocks and dangle your feet in the water. Beyond the beach is the small village of Cala Torret with streets snaking their way down to cafes and restaurants overlooking the sea. A diving school operates at Cala Torret.

'Quaint' is how to describe the fishing village of Binibeca Vell with its charming white washed houses set against the backdrop of the sparkling, clear waters of the Mediterranean. Explore narrow cobbled streets and courtyards full of beautiful flowers. Relax on the terrace for some refreshment. With a choice of traditional fish restaurants to something British, there's food for everyone's taste, or saunter back to your Binibeca villa for a barbecue.

From Binibeca villas, the kids will jump at the chance of getting on board the road train, which chugs its way along the beautiful stretch of Menorca's coastline, during the summer, to the resort of Punta Prima next door.

Take time out from your Binibeca villa to visit the traditional village of Sant Lluis. It's a short drive away where you'll find the main shopping area packed with shops, bars and restaurants. Try some tapas and soak up the Spanish atmosphere. Visit the renovated windmill before heading back to your Binibecan villa for a dip in the pool.
