Shopping for food you will find all you need at the local supermarkets from fresh fruit and veg, cooked
and fresh meats, and cheeses and dairy products, cereals, milk, water, international press and in the tourist areas you will find
many brands from home. |

| For the hypermarkets you will have to go a little further a field.' Vivo Supermercado' is located on the
circular road on the opposite side to the Arrecife Airport, there you will find everything you need with a cafeteria and small
tapas bar. |

| In the tourist areas they are usually open all day. |

| Puerto del Carmen-following the main sea front road you will find a
mixture of arts, crafts, silver jewellery, high street brands, Spanish chains, sports shops, gift shops and eletcrical shops. |

| When entering an eletcrical shop please be aware, as the owners can be very persuasive. Always check
the goods you have bought are the same as the box and check your visa transactions before leaving the shop. |

| Biosfera Shopping
Centre-found on the roundabout between the old and the new town. Has 4 floors with shoe shops, boutiques, high street fashion,
beachwear, sunglasses and gift ideas. Various restaurants and cafes offering tapas, pizzas, crepes and snacks. Kids play area on
the top floor. |

| Deiland Shopping Centre-A Spanish centre, passing the Arrecife airport on the same side has Kentucky Fried Chicken,
tapas and burgers. Spanish speaking cinema, bowling alley, high street fashion, boutiques, perfumes, cosmetics, shoe shops, home
shops, computer shop, dry cleaning and Bodyshop.Arrecife-Open 09:30 until 13:30 then 17:00 until 20:00.Head for Calle Leon Castillo
a pedestrianised street passing the Arrecife Gran Hotel. High street brands, Spanish brands, home decor, shoes and bags etc,
Mothercare and street cafés. Thursday morning hosts a smaller version of the Sunday Market. |

Costa Teguise-Playa de las Cucharas shopping centre has the usual swim and sports wear along a
promenade littered with bars and cafés. In the Pueblo Marinero square on Friday nights there is a craft market surrounded by lively
bars and cafes.
Playa Blanca-The main shopping areas being in Calle Limones a pedestrianised centre and the leisure centre
of Papagayo. Market in Rubicon Marina on Wednesdays.
Teguise Sunday Market-Set in Teguise towards the centre of the island
this normally sleepy village turns into a bustling shopper’s paradise. Local arts and crafts, clothes, bags, shoes, sunglasses,
jewellery, spices and eat in the local tapas bars or fast food stalls. Canarian music in the church square. Don’t forget to
barter! |
