you about the destination in general with details of attractions, news, events and

On the 22nd of July, Villa Plus will celebrate its 21st Anniversary. It all started with a very determined young man who decided there must be a market for families wanting to stay in villas with private pools instead of staying in hotels or apartments within the Algarve. So, in July of 1986 the first reservation was taken and Villa Plus has not looked back since. Villa Plus started with only 20 villas and today we look after clients occupying over 190 villas spread along the Algarve coastline.
Villa Plus lives up to its name by putting the plus into their villas. Our
aim is to provide a villa home from home and to look after our guests in
the hope that they will return with us again and again. All of the villas
have many features from Pool Tables to Playstation2s, Table Tennis Tables
to CD players and this year Air Conditioning/ Heating and Pool Heating.
For those of you who know the Algarve, you will know that it has a lot to
offer, whether travelling on your own, as a |

couple, in a family, or with friends, there is always plenty to do here whatever the time of year.
Our season runs from April through to November, so no matter what time of year you
choose to visit, there are various festivals, beach parties, waterparks, a superb
range of golf courses and even a Dolphinarium where you can swim with the dolphins.
We try to locate our villas along the coastline with easy access to beaches and
restaurants and our programme runs from exclusive Quinta do Lago in central
Algarve to Praia de Luz on the western coastline.
The gastronomy in the region varies enormously from traditional Portuguese cuisine
to international cuisine and you will find something for everyone.During the summer months from June to September you will find various food
festivals such as the Sardine Festival in Portimao around the end of July and the
beginning of August. In August you can also visit the seafood Festival in Olhao
and not forgetting of course the famous beer festival in Silves.
As well as gastronomy, we also have events taking place such as the International
Motorbike show in July which takes place in Faro and the very impressive international
sand sculptures which can be seen in Algoz from the 20th of May to the
end of September.
There is a dedicated team of 14 full-time, bi-lingual staff in the
Algarve ranging from Representatives to office based staff. Most staff here are either Portuguese
or married to Portuguese, but we have all resided in Portugal for many years and
have made it our home, so you could not find a better team of people to look after
you while you are here on holiday.
The Algarve is Europe’s premier villa destination and it is easy to see why so many people choose to
return year after year. We look forward to welcoming you to the Algarve in the near future!
