Robert explains that "I recently stayed in Villa Thea, Kassiopi on an educational visit to Corfu and I recommend this villa because it offers a degree of privacy, has a fantastic pool area with stunning views and is close to Avlaki beach. There is a great local taverna where you can unwind with a bottle of red, whilst enjoying the laidback way of Greek life.
Another one of my favourites is Villa Raquel, near the historic old town of Pollenca in Mallorca. This pretty villa is furnished to a high standard and set in attractive grounds with fantastic country views. Again, a great place to get away from it all and unwind in the warm Mediterranean sunshine."

I was firstly taken aback by the villa’s magnificent entrance gates and this favourable first impression was not lost upon entering the villa.
