Javea - A very important celebration in which you can see, and often join in, a range of both social and religious events which include dancing in the streets.

3 May
Javea - Crosses made of natural flowers are placed in various streets by the villagers and a competition is carried out for the most original and beautiful. To mark the end of the fiestas, the image of Jesus of Nazareth leads a procession from the church of San Bartolome back to the Ermita del Calvario.

3^rd June
Moraira - Communions in Moraira and a traditional procession in Teulada.

16^th – 19^th June 2011
Moraira - One of the best fiestas of the year, not to be missed. Watch the Christians and the Moors fight on the beach by the castle in Moraira with a great parade on the Sunday 13^th around 7pm, please be aware that times are very approximate.

Javea - The principal fiestas of Javea. Processions with floats, dancing in the streets and firework displays.

Moraira - The magic night of San Juan celebrations around the "hoguera" bonfires at Ampolla beach and in Teulada at the town hall square.

Moraira - 1^st weekend of July the Font Santa festivities with open air dancing.

13^th – 24^th July 2011
Moraira - The Feast of the Patron Saint of Moraira Mare de Deu dles Desamparats y Mare de Deu del Carme with spectacular fireworks on 15^th and 16^th. Sea procession on 16^th.

16^th July
Javea - In the morning, the fishing boats from the town carry the image of the Virgin out to sea and pay homage to her by scattering flowers on the water.

17^th - 24^th July 2011
Javea - Impressive processions and enactments of battles dressed in traditional costumes. One of the best fiestas of the summer.

24^th & 25^th July
Moraira - Open air dancing.

29^th & 30^th August 2011
Moraira - Sants de la Pedra in Calvo Sotelo Street Teulada. Eat your dinner on the street and join in the open air dancing.

30^th July - 2^nd August 2011
Javea - Dancing in the streets to live bands. Mass and sharing out of the wine of honour.

Moraira - Medieval Festivity and Market in the old town of Teulada with typical products, games and medieval atmosphere.
