Activities For Kids In Costa Del Sol

The Costa del Sol has always been a favourite choice for the family holiday where children and young people will discover more exciting things to do than lie on a beach all day.

More and more exciting activities are springing up with an ever increasing choice of theme parks, nature parks and zoos for the animal lovers, sports facilities, spectacular horse shows, cable car trips, boat trips, karting, sea life centres and all manner of water sports, to name just a few.

Adults too can enjoy any of these pursuits, knowing that their children are happy and having a great holiday

Parque Acuatico Mijas One of the most popular water parks on the coast is the Mijas Aquapark where  the Adventure River ride, a 300ft winding raft slide awaits you.

Dolphin Watching Dolphins are frequently seen off the Costa del Sol and nothing can beat watching these endearing creatures dancing and playing alongside the boats as they live peacefully and reasonably safely in their own natural habitat.

Several trips go from Gibraltar and one even refunds your money if you don’t see a dolphin which is rare because they breed in the Bay of Algeciras.

From Fuengirola, Cabopino, Benalmadena and Puerto Banus, trips are available, some are cruises with snacks and drinks included, others let you swim with the dolphins.

So wherever you are staying there is an opportunity close by.
Gibraltar Tour The only way to discover Gibraltar is to have your own guide, someone who knows the history, the flora and fauna, the legends, and where to take the best photographs.
