Kassiopi has a reasonable sized beach, north of the town with snack bars and beachside tavernas. Several beaches are a short walk around two headlands starting out from the harbour. Most of them are Greek tavernas – The Greeks make families very welcome – most have children's menus - they love to get together and socialize themselves, spending hours at their get-togethers. Try the local drink with your Greek meze – Ouzo or Retsina.
A short drive or boat trip you'll find beachside tavernas in Kalamaki, Imerolia beach, Agios Stefanos, Avlaki, Agni, Kalami and Nissaki or if you feel like it seek out the mountain tavernas nestled in the hills behind Kassiopi.

The pretty harbour and the centre of Kassiopi are busy and lively both during the day and in the evening. Sit along the harbour front in one of the bars and watch the world go by. Boat trips are available and you can also hire your own boat from the harbour, check out the local information to see what's available. In the evenings Kassiopi is full of beans – there are plenty of lively bars and a disco near the port.
Some bars have Greek dancing and usually stay open until the last person leaves.
